We want to encourage all old barn owners to take advantage of the barn workshops that we'll have on Barn Day. We have two barn experts who'll be evaluating two of the barns on the tour that are in need of "help". They'll explain how they analyze a barn's needs and make recommendations to homeowners about restoration. Mason John McSwain will also be available at one barn to explain what was involved when he rebuilt the foundation.
The 1904 picture is of barns on Black Hill. The 18th century barn on the far left is on the tour.
